European players of the hit massively multiplayer game The Lost Ark have faced long log-in queues since the game's launch - and now developer Smilegate RPG and Western publisher Amazon Games admit there's nothing they can do to improve the situation due to the lack of flexibility Architecture of the Lost Ark Gold game. In a blog post, Smilegate and Amazon said they were unable to expand capacity further in central Europe.

As promised last week, a new Europe West server region has been added. But with no role transfers and no cross-regional play, it's of little help for players who have invested time on a central European server.

"We know players still have long queues in Europe," the development team said in the post. "Central Europe is at full capacity and unfortunately there is no way to increase the number of players per world in Central Europe. Adding more servers is impossible given the complexity of all the systems that need to work together."

The team notes that Western Europe "is an attractive option for new players or those who have not progressed significantly in Central Europe." Players who purchased Founders Packs for the free-to-play game will receive a second variation of the pack. body so that switching servers doesn't leave behind the goodies they already claim.

The post notes that the server transfer feature has actually just launched in South Korea, where Lost Ark has been available since 2019. But it's a manual weekly batch process that doesn't support cross-region transfers, so it won't help mid-Europe players with their current predicament.

"We will not rest until we have exhausted all options," the developer said.

The Lost Ark team says they are actively working on a number of Buy Lost Ark Boosting other fixes, notably improving matchmaking, reducing gold seller spam, and improving the stability of Crystalline Aura, an in-game subscription system that provides various benefits to your character Roll basis.
