Before Season 7 Ends
Servers shut down tomorrow at approximately 5:30 AM Eastern Time. After this time, you cannot load into Madden 26. Complete everything before going to bed today, and if you need to buy Madden 26 coins to finish your team before the season ends, do so now to avoid missing the deadline.
Required tasks: Reach Level 45, finish all weeklies and dailies, complete promo XP, and finish Bo Jackson rushing yards.
Collector Series Final Release
The Ultimate Collector Series Set costs about 5.7 million coins. You will lose roughly 1.3 million. Do not complete this set today. Wait several days for prices to settle.
Set rewards: You receive all your champions back. If they do not appear immediately, restart your game. You also receive an Ultimate Collector Series Token. Seven tokens currently exist with no known use yet, though speculation suggests a free Golden Ticket later. Finally, you choose one 98 overall Ultimate Collector Series player from six revamped LTDs.
Player options: Andrew Luck, Jamir Gibbs, AJ Green, Pat Toman, and Ray Nitschke are all solid. Ray Nitschke provides plus one to all stats including height until May 4th. The original Hometown Hero boost ends next Monday, but the revamped LTD boost lasts two Mondays. Pick the player that fits your theme team or playstyle.
Superstar Duo Opportunity Pack: Costs $20. Not terrible, but the Season 8 Premium Field Pass is cheaper and provides better value.
Season 8 Overview
The Field Pass has 45 levels and ends on May 27th. The overall cap increases to 99 overall champions.
Season 8 champions have significant problems. Multiple cards miss key ability thresholds. Allan Fka has 91 zone, meaning no Mid Zone KO. Kean O'Neal has no Deep Zone KO. Byron Murphy has 89 speed and no Double or Nothing. Only two champions are considered good. Missing thresholds in April is a major issue for competitive play.
Junior Seo, the Season 8 champion, has 96 speed and decent route running but does not get Mid Zone KO. He is acceptable on a Bears theme team but disappointing for a champion card.
NFL Draft Promo Part One
Welcome item players: Trent McDuffie and Amecha. Both start at 90 overall and upgrade to 99 using Draft Upgrade Tokens. You can only pick one.
Trent McDuffie has 99 speed, 99 man, 97 zone, and 99 press with all 32 team chemistries. Amecha reaches 99 speed on a 50/50 theme team with 98 jumping and excellent route running.
Upgrade your chosen player by acquiring Draft Tokens through promos and objectives. Both have times two to NFL Draft boost. This boost will lose its speed component on May 7th. The Draft Promo has at least three parts. During Part Three, you will be able to pick the other welcome item player.
Draft Heroes: 96 overall heroes are now available. Cameron Bayham is a strong safety with 97 speed, 97 zone, and 93 man coverage. Germaine has 99 strength with discounted Secure Protector. If you invested in lower-tier heroes, you may profit tomorrow.
Low elites: The 93 overall group includes Jordan (edge, 93 speed, 93 zone), Jack Sawyer (Steelers edge), and Michael Burton (Lions fullback with 82 speed). The 91 overall group includes Matt Prior (91 strength, 93 run block) and Troy Anderson. Several cards are underwhelming for their overall rating.
Champions: Marcel Reese has 97 speed and 99 catching. Leonard Williams has 99 power move and 99 block shed. Jordan Morgan has 99 pass block and 99 run block but does not get Secure Protector. Derrick Johnson is considered bad despite being a rare card release. Antonio Johnson is the card of the drop with 98 speed, 99 hit power, 99 man coverage, and 94 zone. Marvin Harrison Jr. has 97 speed with 99 catch in traffic and 99 deep route running.
Limited time cards: Six LTDs are dropping, which is more than the usual two to four. CJ Stroud has 94 speed, 99 throw power, and 98 throw under pressure. Keenan Allen has 98 speed and 99 catching. Roger McCoury has 98 speed and 99 zone. Saquon Barkley has 98 speed and 99 break tackle. Jonathan Cooper does not get Double or Nothing.
Events: The online event player is Back Thomas with 97 speed, 99 hit power, 98 zone, and 99 block shed. The CPU event player is Tuli Tuipulotu with no clear reason to acquire. The draft event requires only six wins for top tier rewards, offering decent coin-making potential. The CPU event rewards include 3,000 coins at tier one, which is underwhelming for April.
Field pass and solos: You do not receive a free champion. Upgrade tokens are available for welcome item players. Solos provide upgradeable tokens and B and D players.
Looking Ahead
Part Two of the Draft Promo arrives Thursday. Every rookie drafted in the first round will be added to the game at that time.
Overall Assessment
Season 8 feels underwhelming. Missing key ability thresholds on champion cards in late April is difficult to understand. The Draft Promo provides some solid cards, particularly the upgradable welcome items and Antonio Johnson. Six limited time cards suggest aggressive monetization. If you want to stay competitive without endless grinding, consider visiting MMOEXP to buy Madden 26 coins and build your team efficiently. Part Two of the Draft Promo, featuring all first-round rookies on draft day, looks more promising than Part One.Our Authors
