RuneScape login lockout after 5 weeks-After restoring most accounts

If you are unfamiliar with RuneScape's tricky login lock problem for more than a month, then you have a chance to seize everything. However, the complexity of the situation requires extensive restoration of player accounts. For most of March, Jagex focused on solving account lockout issues. On March 23, nearly 3 weeks after the problem started, RuneScape players will test the account recovery work through the invitation-only process to test the recovery work. During this period, Jagex delayed the update of RuneScape, and the plan to resume "business as usual" did not go as planned, but the long process was to restore the account to normal, close to the state of locked orders.


At the end of March, with the arrival of the Spring Festival, RuneScape began to see a touch of normality. Seasonal content updates indicate that Jagex believes that they have solved the login lock issue well, and the week of April 5th is the end when RuneScape players cannot enter the game for more than a month. On April 9th, Jagex confirmed that it would release the seventh and last wave of accounts that were previously unable to log in. They asked all players who were still unable to log in to try to use their accounts:


When asked what measures the team has taken to prevent such a big problem from happening again, ModWarden said that last month some new monitoring and features that the team did not have previously had been deployed. Except for plans to "invest" in "more" ways to minimize the risk of these problems in the future, there is no detailed actual action plan. When the login lockout problem is finally resolved, ModWarden stated that their future prevention plans and a list of features that will solve future problems of this level will be detailed.
