Raven 2 Guild Guide: Conquering the Ancient Fortress

The Ancient Fortress is a high-stakes, large-scale PvE and PvP hybrid mode where guilds compete across servers for exclusive rewards. Access it via [Menu (☰) > Ancient Fortress]. This event runs on a two-week cycle.

This guide will walk you through entry requirements, the bidding system, matchmaking rules, combat strategy, and rewards, including how to buy Raven 2 Crystal to accelerate your preparation for the Ancient Fortress.

1. Entry Requirements & Bidding

Before stepping into the fortress, your guild must secure a spot through a bidding war.

Prerequisites for Participation

Your guild must be level 12 or higher. The guild leader must win the participation bid. Participating characters must be level 55 or higher and located in a village. The “Invitation from the Lost Kingdom” item is required for bidding.

How the Bidding Works

The guild leader applies for participation using the Invitation item. Guild members then submit their own Invitations to raise the guild’s total bid count. Only guilds with at least 15 members can participate in the bidding.

Winning Condition: The guilds with the highest total number of Invitations used are selected.

Refund Rule: If your guild fails to win the bid, all Invitations are returned to Guild Storage, but can only be redistributed to members who contributed at least one item.

Farming Invitations: The Invitation from the Lost Kingdom can be obtained from level 50+ common dungeons (Ancient Temple, Deep Swamp, and Red Rock Canyon) or specific hunting zones in Sinerim and Altheia.

2. Guild Combat Power & Member Restrictions

Your guild’s Combat Power determines which battleground you enter.

Combat Power Formula

Combat Power is calculated as the sum of Attack, Defense, and Accuracy. The system uses the highest value previously achieved by each character.

Important Restriction: If an account has multiple characters confirmed as participants, only the one with the highest accumulated EXP counts toward guild Combat Power. The remaining characters cannot participate.

Member Lock Rules

Once bidding ends, members who participated cannot leave or be expelled from the guild until the season ends. Members who join after participation results are announced cannot join that season’s fortress.

3. Matchmaking & Battlegrounds

Up to 24 guilds are ranked by Combat Power across 6 servers (matched in Abyss 3F). They are split into four battlegrounds.

Battleground of the Beginning: Guilds ranked 1st to 6th in total Combat Power.

Battleground of Elements: Guilds ranked 7th to 12th in total Combat Power.

Battleground of Life: Guilds ranked 13th to 18th in total Combat Power.

Battleground of Flora: Guilds ranked 19th to 24th in total Combat Power.

Match Notes

A maximum of 6 guilds can be matched per battleground. If fewer than 6 guilds qualify, the number of battlegrounds may be reduced, or fewer than 6 guilds may be matched. Same-server guilds in the same battleground keep existing Allies. Different-server guilds are treated as hostile by default.

4. Entering the Fortress

After winning the bid, guild members can enter via [Menu (☰) > Ancient Fortress]. Select a Rally Point, then click Enter.

Life System

Each player starts with 15 lives per season. One death consumes one life. At 0 lives, you cannot re-enter the fortress for the rest of the season.

5. Combat & Victory Conditions

The fortress opens for 2 hours. You must compete against other guilds to defeat bosses.

Bosses

There are 3 mini bosses and 1 final boss named Protector Parnaq (also spelled Parnak).

Defeating Mini Bosses

When a mini boss is defeated, all guild members of the player who lands the final blow receive a special buff. Additionally, when a boss’s HP drops below a certain rate (partial destruction), the Special Corps members who destroyed that part gain loot ownership.

Ending the Battle

If Protector Parnaq is defeated, the Ancient Fortress of the current season ends immediately. The guild of the player who lands the final blow becomes the season’s winner. If Protector Parnaq is not defeated within the 2-hour time limit, the fortress attempt is considered to fail.

6. Rewards

Loot from Bosses

Each boss possesses special loot, which can be acquired when the boss is defeated and when partially destroyed. Partial destruction rewards go to the Special Corps members who caused that HP threshold break.

Season Victory Rewards

The guild that defeats the final boss (Protector Parnaq) becomes the victor and receives the season’s reward. The final rewards vary depending on which battleground your guild is assigned to. You can view rewards via the Prize Money Obtainable Upon Winning button. There is no additional tax upon claiming.

If the Fortress is Not Held

If the Ancient Fortress is not held, all bidding costs are returned to Guild Storage. Returned items can only be distributed to guild members who contributed at least one item to the bid.

7. Important Notes Summary

Do: Farm Invitations early, coordinate guild attendance, aim for final blows.

Don’t: Join after results are announced, leave the guild mid-season, or waste lives recklessly.

Remember: Only one character per account counts for Combat Power, and cross-server guilds are always enemies, while victory is determined by final blow, not total damage—so if you're looking to strengthen your guild quickly, you can find Raven 2 Crystal for sale at MMOEXP to give your team an edge before the next fortress battle.
