I can't believe no-one ITT has brought up this horrendously awful idea yet.Have you ever seen a screenshot of RS3 where literally everyone has some sort of retarded nickname clogging up more space on the chat box?One of the many contributing factors to RS Gold what caused the demise of original runescape, cant even believe this was entertained as a question.


When everyone has a title, and everyone will, nobody is special for having one and everyone just looks stupid. Then you get the people who genuinely enjoy it, and they just need to stay in "rs"3. Too many "rs"3 players leaking?I think RS best  handles displaying player accolades via the methods it already has implemented.


Namely gear (Fire Cape, Skill Capes etc) and pets.Depending on the thing in question, making a toggle can be a nightmare because of testing purposes. With just as few as 10 toggles interfacing the same thing being tested, suddenly you need to build 1024 automated tests.The settings menu of osrs is already starting to get fairly cluttered, with several sub-menus and windows.


Things can go south quick if the menial toggles keep getting added.Adding a toggle is easy, so the toggle it self wouod

not be responsible for wasted dev time.
